This dovetail bar kit allows you to replace the wider CGE dovetail bar found on most Celestron 11-inch Schmidt-Cassegrain and 11-inch EdgeHD optical tubes with a narrow dovetail.

Provides a sturdy mounting platform:

By changing to this narrower bar, it allows your OTA to be used on mounts that require the narrower CG-5 dovetail bars, such as the Advanced VX mount.
