We use specialized, heavy-duty double-boxing and custom foam inserts for all optical equipment to prevent misalignment or damage during transit.
What is your return policy for high-end optics?
We offer a 30-day return policy for most items in new condition. Please note that specialized astronomical cameras and high-end mounts may be subject to a restocking fee.
Do you provide technical support for collimation and setup?
Yes, our team of expert astronomers provides complimentary lifetime technical support via phone and email for every telescope purchased through OPT.
Do you offer international shipping for large observatory equipment?
We ship globally. For oversized items like observatory domes or heavy pier mounts, please contact our logistics team for a custom freight quote.
Are your products covered by a manufacturer warranty?
All telescopes and accessories are sold with full manufacturer warranties. We also assist our customers in navigating the warranty process with brands like Celestron, Meade, and ZWO.
What payment methods do you accept for large purchases?
